About Legendary Letters
It started with a simple idea.
A story, sent as a letter.
Something with a child’s name on it, and a reason they would actually want to open it.
From there, it grew.
Not just a story, but something more immersive.
Something that felt a bit magical, a bit interactive, and worth coming back to.
Gareth was drawn to puzzles and adventure.
Clues to follow. Things to figure out. Ways of building a story that pulls you forward.
He’s been putting the site together and shaping how everything works behind the scenes, turning all of this into something real. He enjoys solving problems, sometimes ones that didn’t need solving in the first place.
Rachel works with children.
As a child clinical psychologist, her work focuses on helping children understand themselves, especially when feelings feel big or hard to explain. Using imagination and story is a way of meeting them where they are.
That thinking has shaped the stories.
Somewhere between those two, Legendary Letters started to take form.
We send personalised letters to children through the post, each one part of an ongoing story with small interactive elements woven in.
Some lean into adventure, some into puzzles, and some help things make a bit more sense when they’re harder to understand.
We kept them as letters on purpose.
They can be opened properly, put down, and picked up again later.
They don’t rush you, and they don’t disappear.
That’s really it.
Something they enjoy, and something that supports them at the same time.
